Vogue Fashion’s Night Out Manchester
A city-centre fashion event bringing independent designers, graduate talent and major retailers together for Vogue Fashion’s Night Out.
Riot House was appointed by the Heart of Manchester BID to create and produce Love Fashion: Manchester as part of Vogue Fashion’s Night Out.
Our concept gave independent and graduate designers a platform to showcase their collections alongside some of Manchester city centre’s biggest retailers, creating an accessible public fashion experience in the heart of the city.
Creating Love Fashion: Manchester
We created the Love Fashion: Manchester concept and brand from scratch, developing a distinctive identity that was rolled out across print, digital, website and social media.
We also curated the fashion programme, recruiting independent designers and working with Manchester Metropolitan University and the University of Salford to showcase collections from emerging graduate designers.
Transforming Exchange Square, Manchester
For the event itself, we created a large-scale temporary event space in Manchester’s Exchange Square.
The programme combined live fashion shows with pop-up retail spaces, live music performances and a bar, creating a destination where visitors could discover designers, watch shows and spend time throughout the event.
Full Event Production
Riot House managed the complete event production, including staging, lighting, sound, security and operational delivery.
We also assembled and managed the creative team, including make-up artists, stylists and photographers, bringing together all the elements required to deliver the live fashion programme.
Over 5,000 Attendees
Love Fashion: Manchester attracted more than 5,000 attendees, bringing significant footfall into Exchange Square while giving independent and emerging fashion talent exposure alongside established city-centre retailers.
Following its success, we were commissioned to produce Love Fashion: Manchester again as part of the Heart of Manchester BID’s city-wide student event, and later for Allied London at Old Granada Studios.
